Das BT-COM ist für den PROTOS Integral gedacht und ersetzt dort die linke Gehörschutzkapsel. Im Lieferumfang ist eine BT-COM-Kapsel für das linke Ohr samt USB-Ladebügel, der Helm ist nicht enthalten. Wie die Kapsel eingebaut wird, steht in der Bedienungsanleitung von PROTOS.

Bis zu vier Teilnehmer lassen sich im Intercom-Netzwerk verbinden. Dafür braucht jeder Teilnehmer ein BT-COM. Die Reichweite liegt bei freier Sicht bei mehreren hundert Metern, im dichten Wald etwas darunter. Zusätzlich lässt sich das System mit dem Smartphone und mit Bluetooth-Handfunkgeräten koppeln.

Laut Hersteller hält der Akku mindestens 8 Stunden. Geladen wird über den mitgelieferten USB-Ladebügel an jedem USB-Anschluss.
Das PROTOS BT-COM ist das Bluetooth-Kommunikationssystem für den PROTOS Integral Forsthelm. Das Modul ist komplett in die linke Gehörschutzkapsel integriert, kommt ohne Kabel und Steckverbindungen aus und ermöglicht störungsfreie Vollduplex-Kommunikation für bis zu vier Teilnehmer, bei freier Sicht über mehrere hundert Meter. Ein Mikrofon mit Umgebungsgeräuschunterdrückung sorgt für klare Sprache neben der Motorsäge. Zusätzlich lässt sich das BT-COM mit Smartphone und Bluetooth-Handfunkgeräten koppeln. Mit nur 42 g Mehrgewicht inklusive Akku, einfacher Bedienung auch mit Handschuhen, mindestens 8 Stunden Akkulaufzeit und mitgeliefertem USB-Ladebügel ist es die praktische Lösung für Arbeiten im Team im Wald.
